Overview

Templates to monitor Buffalo TeraStations over SNMP v2c on mini_snmpd.


  1. Install ipkg

mkdir -p /share/tmp; cd /share/tmp

wget http://ipkg.nslu2-linux.org/feeds/optware/mssii/cross/stable/mssii-bootstrap_1.2-7_arm.xsh

sh mssii-bootstrap_1.2-7_arm.xsh

  1. Install mini_snmpd

ipkg update

ipkg install mini_snmpd

  1. Create Init Script

vi /opt/etc/init.d/S99mini_snmpd

#!/bin/sh

/opt/sbin/mini_snmpd -i eth0 -D “TeraStation” &

  1. Change permission

chmod 755 /opt/etc/init.d/S99mini_snmpd

  1. Reboot

reboot

6.check Execute

ps grep snmpd
